At Locke Creations, we aim to provide a seamless shopping experience. Our returns policy is designed to be fair and transparent, in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT)
"Change of Mind" Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, the ECT Act allows you to return items for any reason within 7 days of the date of delivery.
- Managed Collection: To ensure the safety and tracking of your return, we will arrange a collection with one of our preferred courier partners.
- Costs: In accordance with the ECT Act, no administrative or restocking fees will be charged. However, the direct cost of the return shipping (the courier collection fee) will be deducted from your final refund.
- Condition of Items: To qualify for a "Change of Mind" return, items must be: Unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition.Complete with all original tags and packaging. Free of any scents, makeup stains, or signs of use.
Defective or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or develops a material defect within 6 months of delivery, you are protected by the CPA.
- Complimentary Collection: We will arrange for our courier to collect the item at no cost to you.
- No Fees: We do not charge any shipping or handling fees for the return of defective or faulty goods.
- Your Choice of Remedy: You may choose to have the item repaired, replaced, or receive a full refund.
- Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, negligence, or failure to follow the care instructions.
Incorrect Orders
If we have delivered the incorrect size, colour, or item, please notify us within 10 business days. We will arrange a courier collection and deliver the correct item at no additional cost to you.
How to Initiate a Return
- Request: Email info@lockecreations.co.za with your order number, the reason for the return, and the collection address.
- Waybill: We will provide you with a digital waybill and confirm the collection date with our courier partner.
- Inspection: Once the item reaches our warehouse, it will undergo a quality inspection.
- Refund: Once approved, your refund (minus the return shipping fee for unwanted items) will be processed via your original payment method within 30 days.
